Agent to Agent referrals are the BEST!!

Wow, what a great day today. I got a KW North Carolina listing referral from an agent today, and my buyers agent was working with some buyers that was a KW Colorado referral for us, her grandson was being transferred to NAS JAX. And then I interviewed two agents on the phone to give an agent in Orlando a listing referral.

It's so important to network with outside area agents....you never know who you know that is moving to another part of the country. Plus, the fun part of working with referral agents, is you can share marketing ideas. Different areas of the country do different things in their business! I LOVE MASTERMINDING with other agents.  It's the ole saying...You have an idea, and I have an idea, when we share with each other, we both have 2 ideas.

That's what's also so fabulous about Active Rain....everyone is SO open to share ideas!!  It's almost like a Real Estate University. You just search ANY idea you want to learn about, and you can read so many blogs and a variety of answers to each, to LEARN SO MUCH!!!

I just attended a Social Networking 2 hour class at my KW office today, and she talked about the importance of blogging AND using Facebook to add as many Realtor Friends as possible around the country. That's another way to do long distance agent to agent referrals!!

I think that the buyer has a built-in sense of confidence with a buyer referral. After all, someone they know and trust made this recommendation.

I totally agree  * I pay $250 for a rental property referral AND I get loads of Realtor/Agent referrals.....I can usually preview the property on our MLS and get information BEFORE I talk to the property owner

Thanks ALL for commenting. I KNOW personal referrals are the BEST Of the BEST!! That, of course is the backbone of my business too! If you're not getting referrals from your past and current clients, then we're doing something wrong. I LOVE my personal referrals!

Like Vickie said, it's an extra step in helping our clients feel comfortable going to a strange city, having the confidence that we've helped them!
