One of the things I love is helping seniors move. In fact, I enjoy it so much I have the SRES designation, Seniors Real Estate Specialist. Seniors are the last great generation. I love their honesty, loyalty, dependability, responsiveness, and honesty. Thir fiscal responsibility is to be envied. Most have their homes paid off, with an occasional exception of a small equity loan, usually used for minor renovations.
The process of moving for seniors is a slower one. Often family members are helping sort their parents' "stuff". There are items that need fresening, such as paint and carpet. Knick knacks need to be thinned out and packed away. Whatever the service they need, I seem to have a good, reliable connection.
What is sad is when there is no family nearby, or no family at all to help. This is when I enlist the aid of my resources to give them a hand. Seniors know they can trust anyone to whom I refer them.
