Tysons Corner Blue Print Released Craig Richardson

According to today's Washington Post, Fairfax County has finally released their revised blueprint for how Tysons Corner will be redeveloped over the next 40 years.  The plan "seeks to transform the suburban office park into Fairfax's own urban downtown rivaling Arlington County's Rosslyn-Ballston corridor."

As pointed out by the Post, the County has also released a timeline for deliberating and finally approving a blueprint.  The County is scheduling 2 public forums for citizens to comment on the proposed plan, scheduled for next Wednesday and February 7.  For more information about the meetings, visit here.  A final hearing and adoption of the plan is scheduled for sometime in May 2010.
