Earlier this year I discovered and wrote about Xobni - an add on tool for Microsoft Outlook.  I started using the free version (yes it's free).  But it didn't take me long to realize how powerful this little tool was so I decided to go ahead and purchase.  I think it cost about $30 dollars.  This little program started to make ME look good in no time.

lots of information

If you're like us - we get emails from so many different sources.  We know that getting back with inquiries as quickly as possible is so important in today's business environment.

We all have some creative file systems in outlook (mine keeps growing) where we file and tuck emails but with Xobni all the information about that person comes in with the email!

With Xobni - it's all right there, contact info, stats, actions, file attachments, even who's in their network.  You'll see all their previous correspondence too.  Instantly you'll know more about them as their LinkedIn and FaceBook pages pop up with photos and links that can help you find out more with just a click...

NOW with the new version even their Twitter feed updates are pulled in.

So if you've already been using it be sure to download the newest version of Xobni, and if you haven't started, do yourself a favor and  check it out!

In case you want to read more about it here's the xobni user manual.pdf

Stephen and Jim, I can't tell you how useful I've found it.  Especially when I get an email and want to call that person back right away this little program gathers all the information that used to take me a while to put together.  Let us know what you think what you've checked it out.

Pretty cool!

I don't use Outlook, except for personal e-mail, and not much of that goes there either....

I've got a bizillion folders in my Yahoo accounts that would take an assistant a couple months to move someplace else...guess that is how Yahoo keeps their customers!

But still a neat tool!

Lee and Pamela - well armed with this new information I am inspired to really check it out. But I am not an Outlook user so it won't work. BUt perhaps I'll decide to move over to Outlook.
