SPEECHLESS SUNDAY ...FLOWERING ONIONS

It only seems like yesterday when our Garden was in Full Bloom last Summer. We like to plant mostly Perennials, however there are some favorites that always end up in the Garden like these Flowering Onions, which are part of ther Allium family. And they are eatable

The first photo is a few weeks before the second photos when the flowers opened.

They are really pretty!  When I see flowers on any of my veggies I always think I've blown it and waited too long to pick them.  I'm hoping to get some raised beds put in shortly and actually be able to plant more things. We've actually still got tomatoes growing. Gotta love Southern California!

Hi Yvette and Dennis...Thanks, great for any garden, plus they last a long time right into the Fall, when they are in full blossom.
