Tell me what are you doing?  Are you in control of your life in 2010?  Mind, body, and spirit, what are you doing?  My wife and I are working out 5 to 6 days a week for body.  Mind, we are both getting back into school, I am going for my Masters in Leadership Coaching Psychology and she is finishing up her Poli Sci degree for law school yay;) and spiritually we have been going to church a couple of times a month to a non denominational christian church and are looking into maybe going to a buddhist group once a month or so.

So now that you know that I am trying to better myself, what are you doing?

Please comment!!!  We can motivate each other.

Wow Joey you are tackling a lot of new changes at one time. I have not made it to the gym but have implemented free weights into my daily schedule. I have stuck to my 3 mile walk almost everyday sometime twice a day. I have been reading more and taking care of my health.

Joey - Ah, yes, to be young and in control of your life!  I do remember those days.  I wish I had your energy, but the reality of an aging body does set some limits and the time I'd like to spend at the fitness center is often spent in the nursing home looking after my elderly parents (only child and they are in their 90's).  I have my Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia U. and worked both in corporate positions and external as a consultant for most of my career.  Real estate is a semi-retirement career.  I'm not complaining, life is good, but I sure can't keep up with you or your wife.  LOL.  We have a lot in common.  I looked into Zen Buddism while I was in a leadership position in a Christian church.  Just curious, like you.  They tossed me out of the church.  I didn't get into Zen Buddism heavily, but to me there is no other religion that creates the same empowering sense of feeling both centered and calm.  As long as you are exploring, read some of Joel Goldmith's books, such as A Parenthesis in Eternity.  Life is a wonderful adventure and I think it is great that you and your wife are growing in mind, body, and spirit.

On a strictly personal level: I've returned to Weight Watchers to lose the 10+ lbs I gained over the fall.
