Looks like Kaiser Permanente is continuing the trend of well known corporations moving to the Tysons Corner area. According to the Washington Business Journal, relying on several real estate sources, Kaiser is expected to close tomorrow on the 235,000 square-foot Russell Building located at 8008 Westpark Drive.
"Kaiser Permanente, which has regional offices in Rockville, has recently unleashed a rapid expansion in the area. Last month it scooped up a 200,000-square-foot office building in Gaithersburg for $42.8 million, and last summer it inked a deal for 200,000 square feet in the Station Place complex adjacent to Union Station."
Kaiser joins Hilton, SAIC, and potentially Northrop Grumman as big names who have chosen to set-up shop in Tysons Corner over the last year or so.
