First you must REMOVE YOUR CLUTTER.  Home buyers cannot visualize their belongings in the home if your things are still scattered about.  Get boxes and start packing the things that are not a necessity.  You may want to go ahead and send them to a storage unit or pack them neatly out of the way in a garage or attic.  This helps your home not to look personalized.  If people are looking at the 100 pictures on your wall, then they are not seeing your home.
