(not so) Wordless Wednesday
Some folks have a distorted view of life. We typically call these folks sick-o's, weird-o's or just plain "touched in the head"
. On the other hand, some folks spend their lives looking for and trying to capture the distorted. We call these folks artists. So what is the difference between being "touched in the head" and being an artist? Or is there?

We can reflect back on our life to try to figure out  if we were touched or not. Nice photo

Great photo Michael......as always :)  Artists see things differently than the rest of us. Imagine if we didn't have artists? I wonder what the world would be like in that case.

I have had the privilege of having a number of artists in my circle of friends.  There is no difference, in my mind, from the cross-section of the subset.  However, I believe the same holds true for most people.  ;)

I think all artists have that drive/creativity, and uniqueness that is often viewed as different...but, they are genious!

Ok Michael, a self proclaim Artist has no fans and nobody likes him.( This is the one individual as you say  " touched in the head".) A real Artist is told by his fans, groupie followers (this group consist mainly of "women touched in the head,") and all most everybody likes them. LMAO, What do I Know?

I like this photograph - very artisitic indeed. Art can be each individual's perception of what is art.

Artists do no harm to others and sick-o's, weird-o's or just plain "touched in the head" usually do

So right Michael.  I have that distorted view you speak of but I am sure that I am an artist.  It is said there is a fine line between brilliance and insanity.  Perhaps there is the same fine line between artist and weirdo!
