Great photo Michael......as always :)  Artists see things differently than the rest of us. Imagine if we didn't have artists? I wonder what the world would be like in that case.

I have had the privilege of having a number of artists in my circle of friends.  There is no difference, in my mind, from the cross-section of the subset.  However, I believe the same holds true for most people.  ;)

I think all artists have that drive/creativity, and uniqueness that is often viewed as different...but, they are genious!

Oh Oh Michael - You really opened the door on that one! LOL Let's just stick with 'artist', shall we? LOL

Ok Michael, a self proclaim Artist has no fans and nobody likes him.( This is the one individual as you say  " touched in the head".) A real Artist is told by his fans, groupie followers (this group consist mainly of "women touched in the head,") and all most everybody likes them. LMAO, What do I Know?

Here in this part of Mexico there are some wonderful folk artists...carving to jewelry and fiber.

Artists do no harm to others and sick-o's, weird-o's or just plain "touched in the head" usually do

Michael, you take the most amazing photographs.  This is a true work of art. 

I think in our own ways we are all a Little touched in the head, but artist put theirs on a canvas.

So right Michael.  I have that distorted view you speak of but I am sure that I am an artist.  It is said there is a fine line between brilliance and insanity.  Perhaps there is the same fine line between artist and weirdo!
