The Garden Center, San Antonio, Texas
Last weekend, we were at The Garden Center. Due to our recent cold snap, I had some questions about pruning my Purple Plum Trees, trimming my frostbitten Tropicals, and how far back I should cut the Euryps (big flowering shrub daises, similar to Marguerites), at our San Antonio home.
The nice people at The Garden Center were able to answer all of my questions:
- It's OK to prune the small wood off the Plum - but use some sealant
- Cut the Euryps back by half
- Wait until we're sure that the weather is still warming before pruning the Tropicals, if I prune too early, they could be further damaged
