Better Times are Coming!

By
Real Estate Agent with Allison James Estates and Homes DRE#01225632

Recently I hot listed my Leasing section of my long Real Estate career.

While speaking to potential tenants, They had one thing in common. So, I made note of it.

This is word for word..."we were looking to Buy, but now were waiting for a year."

I would say at least ten couples, and they all were excellent Buyers.

You know I'm going to be like Santa Claus, making my list, checking twice!

Even my own Buyers, who I suffered with through "Short Sale, Hell." They should rename it "No Sale."

They have told me their waiting for a year.

We all know how Lenders/Bankers think!

I dream of a Hell where people go that never call back, you can't locate, lie to you.

Do you think that room will be big enough? And will they all wear suits and have God complexes?

Maybe, to be fair some Realtors would end up there with lawyers, also.   Maybe, there should be a new Golden Rule. "Communication is the path to understanding."

Anyway, Give a lot of hugs this year! You never know who needs one:0) The Strong will be like the South, "Rise Again."

And remember, Realtors are people too with family, real worries, real concerns. We put our lifes on the back burner, and place our client needs above our own. Give us a pat on the back, and say you are Thankful!

It goes a long way:0)

The ice seems to be cracking here in St. Louis...I hope that your optimism is warranted!

I don't think it froze over here.  Maybe, just a little ice around the edges.  Anyway, I'm getting more reward for my efforts.  I do have quite a few that have said that they want to wait for six months to a year.  My guy that was going to wait six months bought after about two weeks.  I am out shopping with the client that said she wanted to wait a year.  We will probably find something within a week or so.

I'm really glad your buyers are coming around. I've hated the last two years in San Diego.

Buyers tend to follow the media, like it's God's word.

And I guessed I stayed too long trying to jump on the foreclosure/short sale band wagon.

I was the Top agent at my last office. The higher you are, the harder you hit the bottem:0(

Well, keep making those sales!

And my buyer list keeps going up for next year! Now I'm working on the sellers that can't sell in this market matching them with the Buyer/renter.

Who knows maybe long run I'll have a perfect match and a sale to look forward to. Or at least both buyers and sellers next year that know me and how hard I work.

What is it they say? Short term lost, for long term gain:0)

If any of you agents are loooking for a new supportive company? Try mine! I love my Broker, best Real Estate Broker as far as support, no I take that back. Best Broker I've ever had!

He really cares about his agents! Some say they care, but when times are tough you know who has your back.
