RESA 2010 Staging Conference in Las Vegas

I had the great honor of attending the Real Estate Staging Association 2010 International Home Staging Conference in Las Vegas this past week.

I finally (and joyfully) got to meet so many people that I've gotten to know here on Active Rain, Twitter and FaceBook. It was truly a pleasure to spend time with old friends plus all the new people who hadn't discovered Active Rain yet (don't worry, I shared the secret with them all).

RESA 2010 International Staging Conference in Las Vegas

Everyone raptly listened to the Panel of Experts: Christine Rae, Jackson West, Audra Slinkey, Joanne Lenart Weary & Matthew Finlason

The conference was SOLD OUT! It was a huge success, attended by 220 home stagers from across the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. I didn't hear a single complaint, except that there was so much information to absorb it was hard to keep up. The list of speakers and presenters was phenomenal and covered the gamut from a copyright and trademark attorney (Eric Pelton), to Ashley Whittenberger on how to figure out what to charge, to Ricardo Bueno on how to use social networking to grow your business, to Matthew Finlason on his experience on The Stagers and the importance of the Real Estate Staging Association to home stagers. This is just a few of the many talented individuals who shared their knowledge with us.

Stagers from every designation were welcome, and most of the top home staging training schools were represented by their students.

I'm sorry that its over and all my friends and staging buddies have spread to the 4 corners of the world. We've already started planning the next International Staging Conference. I can't wait to see everyone again!

Hello Michelle and please accept another huge CONGRATS!.. I am so glad I attended this event.. and it was an EVENT!  All of us who were there are surely experiencing many of the same "wowed" feelings that accompany such a concentrated flow of valuable information... And this was topped by meeting so many, many extraordinary people with whom we share so many common dreams and hopes.

I will definitely plan to be there again next year,,  and so should you!

What I learned at this conference was so valuable.  What most inspiring was the UNITY that RESA brought out in everyone.  Its was really exciting to be apart of the family.    I loved every minute.

Kate: I was very disappointed when I heard you couldn't attend. A meeting is long overdue. Thank you for your kind compliment.

Connie: You'd be crazy to miss it. Next year is going to be even better. Thank you!

It was my great please to be able to meet so many fantastic Stagers!

I would like to send a shout out to everyone who contributed so much to make it so sucessful.  I will be there again next year!  I think RESA could sell 700 tickets next year !  I know we acould all get at least one additional stager to go given our experience.   It was truly fantastic!

The conference has re-energized me as 2009 was less successful for me.  It was worth every penny spent and I can't wait for next year.

You WON!!!!!!!!!  I'm so glad you did. I was holding my breath for you, but then I knew you had to win. You had it in the bag IMHO b/c nobody worked harder or contributied SO much to our industry, especially in 2009 with you and Kathy Nielsen  introducing Easy Designer Websites, a stroke of genius, and your consistantly sharing so much with all of us, like my personal favorite- pics of your truly inspirational dream warehouse, not to mention all your fabulous staging, of course.  I'm only sorry I wasn't there to toast you in person, my friend.  Heart felt congratulations!
