With all that is going on in the world, from the earthquake in Haiti to events here at home, we all know what a great organization the Red Cross is and how they help people in need. And of course we all want to help some way. Here in Apex, NC we have a lot of very creative and generous people who have thought of a fun way to get people together and work for a worthy cause.
One of them is my good friend and former client,Deena Boos, who not only is a wonderful Stampin Up demonstrator, but she is a compassionate person who is willing to use her talents to help others.
While working at the Blue Tiger Gift Shop in Apex, North Carolina recently, she had a young lady, Christine Schulze from Apex High School, stop in. Christine is working on raising money for the Red Cross. Deena generously volunteered her time and skills to hold a CARD making event to help Christine raise money for the Red Cross.
If you've ever stamped cards or used stamps in scrapbooking and other paper crafts, you know what fun it can be. If you've NEVER done any stamping, or even crafting, you don't know how easy it is and what beautiful things you can make.
At this event, Deena will have samples of 5 cards to make, with all the materials and instructions available. Just come, meet new people, contribute to a worthy cause, have fun, and leave with 10 Beautiful cards. And maybe a lot of inspiration to make new crafts too!
Here's all the details, straight from Deena and Christine:

Christine and the Red Cross would like to get a minimum of 40 people there to make this event a success, so please bring a friend and join us for a fun afternoon of crafting!
