Motivational Power Quote

Don't Rain on My Parade

"No Person has the right to rain

on your dreams."

Marian Wright Edelman

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don't rain on my parade

Think of your life as a parade where each day will be bright and sunny in your thinking.

Each new day will bring new opportunities to for us to grasp as a result of our wiliness to stretch our thinking and our efforts.

The parade of your life is our dreams and those dreams are there for you to achieve. Don't let people step in between you and your dreams and pour water on the flames of those dreams.

Choose the people around you very carefully. Let the negative people and dissenter's rain on someone else's parade; but not yours.

Surround yourself with people that will have a positive influence on you and your life.

It's your parade and you get pick who you want in your parade.

Don't anyone rain on your parade.

Hi Lou, True friends never bring a firehose to the party.  It's good to think about picking positive people to be the parade!

Lou,

There are some who try, then don't understand why I just ignore them.

Lou,

As long as we know how to stay dry, no one can rain on our parade. Good post. :)

As we get older we discover that we don't have to catch any ball that is thrown in our direction. Same thing with the people we meet.
