North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains - A Snowy Winter's Day

North Georgia Mountains | Blue Ridge | Lake Blue Ridge | Mountain Log Homes | Winter's Snow

Living at it's best in the North Georgia Mountains. There's something to be said for a snowy, winter's day, when everything seems to stop for awhile, no noise, all is quiet. And there's nothing like a cozy fire, warm woolly socks and a cup of rich hot chocolate to enjoy nature's awesome display. I simply kicked back for awhile after walking around my neighborhood, taking in the peaceful beauty of snowflakes falling quietly on the mountain tops and shores of Lake Blue Ridge. I felt like I was in a world all my own today with the exception of one bird who was singing its heart out. The North Georgia Mountains are always beautiful but today, it came with whip cream and a cherry on top. I am thankful to be so blessed to live,play and sell real estate in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia.

Sounds like a pretty day but a good one to stay inside - thought maybe we'd get to see what it looked like. :)

Steve: It was great to be outside for a little while anyway. The snow was beautiful with huge flakes falling. I had to take a stroll and then back to the house to a warm fire.
