I am a General Manager of a real esate company in Tallahassee, Florida. I am with a "Branded" Company. The point of my post is not to argue programs but simply to ask if you are finding it easier or more difficult to hire associates in a tougher market (i'm assuming your market is down from 2005 and 2006) as is mine?
If you are having more success, what do you attribute it to?

I am having good luck hiring agents as I am somewhat well known in the area. People know that I care about and will treat them with the respect they deserve for being in the marketplace. I also do not compete with my agents that are selling. I only do family and CLOSE friends although I have referred a friend or two to my agents.
I also offer real estate classes for the people wanting to get their license which helps get newer agents.
