Yesterday, about 2:30 in the afternoon, it started to snow to beat the band. We immediately were covered in soft fluffy white stuff. I shut down I-26 and I-40 and electric was lost in various pockets.
Once again, I lucked out. After it turned to rain last night, and continues today, I am still with power. So I am eating some home made chicken noodle soup while I watch it continue to rain. An odd thing, even though it has been raining since late last night, the snow is still fluffy and soft. 
Enjoy a few pictures from a walk down the road earlier with my walking buddy Hanna. We will try it again later this afternoon if the rain stops.
