We have just moved our Keller Williams Realty office from Litchfield Beach to Murrells Inlet, about 5 miles from one to the other. The owners and us agents think we're in a better, more visible location, adjacent to the Piggly Wiggly grocery store diagonally across Hwy 17 Bypass from the Post Office. The location is fairly centrally located for the Waccamaw Neck, which is that land mass from south of Surfside Beach (Garden City Beach) to Pawleys Island. The new office is convenient to the Prince Creek development, which contains the vaunted TPC golf course and several neighborhoods such as Willow Bay, Laurel Bay, Linksbrook, Highlands, Seasons at Prince Creek West, etc. The office is immediately adjacent to Sterling Point and Riverwood condos, and is just around the corner from the gated golf community of Wachesaw Plantation East. Across Wachesaw Road is the private gated golf community of Wachesaw Plantation, and this community fronts on the Waccamaw River and contains the award winining 18 hole Tom Fazio golf course. And next door is the Wacca Wache Marina, one of the most popular stops on the IntraCoastal Waterway in our area. Wacca Wache Marina

The main attraction of Murrells Inlet is that body of water that flows out to the ocean, the Inlet itself. There are several marinas and many restaurants fronting on the Inlet, as well as the Inlet Marsh Walk which connects several of the restaurants and the community pier extending out into the Inlet itself. Across the Inlet bordering the ocean is Garden City Beach, with mostly private homes (beach houses) and a dozen or so condo buildings. The majority of these are available for vacation rental and is one of the most popular in the Myrtle Beach area. South of Murrells Inlet is the fabulous Brookgreen Gardens, named the attraction of the year recently. Across the Highway is Huntington State Park, which fronts directly on the ocean and has campsites and nature trails. Continuing south on Highway 17 you come to Litchfield Beach and Pawleys Island.
