How do I love she? Let me count the ways.

By
Real Estate Agent with Jameson Sotheby's International Realty

Realtor magazine asked us to tell them why we love our broker.  Here is the essay that I gave them.  As you can tell, I do love my broker, how do you feel about yours?  If you don't love, or seriously like your broker... why are you hanging around there?  Go find a situation where you are supported and nurtured.  Or better yet, apply HERE.

How do I love her?  Let me count the ways.
I love her for the depth and breadth of the agents in the office
Her soul reaches into each and every one of us.
For the input on deals and transactions with grace.

I love her for her level headedness, when needed.
For her hands-on, when required, and hands-off when not.

I love her freely, to keep me on the right path.
I love her to give me a good kick in the ... uh... behind.
I love her encyclopedic knowledge of everything real estate.
I love her widsom and knowledge of when to act, and when NOT to act.

She filleth our office with quality agents,
and tolerates fools, not easily.

While it is known that offal flows from the top,
so doth respect, knowledge and integrity,
and that maketh our office the best in the land.

As long as my managing broker
doth wander the halls of our office,
and taketh the lead of the reins,
I shall haunt her brokerage.

Alan, that is some powerful statement of what seems to be great respect that obviously is earned in every way! So good to hear the positive! I can say much the same about my broker!

Home is where the hearth is.

Caren - I have a great deal of respect for her... it's good that you could read between the lines to see that.

David - I forgot "sense of humour"... she does laugh at my jokes... go figure... so she has ONE fault.

Jen - I just couldn't help it.

Richard - meh, she's okay, I guess.  ;-)

Now I feel really bad that all I said was that I like my Broker because he usually stays out of my way.

JL - that's part of what makes a good managing broker... Knowing when to be hands-on, and knowing when to get out of the way.

Hi Alan,

Very clever essay! I can say our broker is the tops! Classy, knowledgeable, hands on, inspiring, dedicated, works hard to provide an environment conducive for top production..she's been recognized as the top manager for 9 years in the SW region for Coldwell Banker she must be doing something right!

Hi Alan, wonderful post! I love my broker too. He always asks how he can help and has business workshops almost every week and I always attend. HE was the reason why I chose Coldwell Banker. When I interviewed him, he answered all my questions before I even asked them. That was all I needed to know I was making the right decision.
