Hi all: I hope you are having a nice weekend so far. Yesterday I had the pleasure of eating at the Lakeside Bistro in Renton. This is the second time I've been here and the food and service are superb.
I ordered the coconut curry chicken which was stir-fried. It was delicious. The Lakeside Bistro has been open for a few months now and is quickly attracting a following. It's small (I would bet it seats 30 maximum) and intimate with separate lunch and dinner menus. The owners, Tim and Michael, do a great job welcoming their guests and making sure they're well taken care of. Michael is a world-renowned chef who has cooked in Paris and New York. The menu reflects his skills; their tagline is modern Vietnamese cuisine. I've decided to be a repeat attender. Their prices are very reasonable and the menu inventive.
I encourage you to stop in for lunch or dinner. They have a jazz night every Tuesday and are planning a special Valentine's dinner for $85/couple. Again, I'm looking forward to future visits at the Lakeside Bistro. They are located at 11425 Rainier Ave. S at the north end of the Renton Municipal Airport. Have a great day!
