Pod Casts

By
Real Estate Agent with Champions Real Estate Services

I am thinking of doing Pod Casts.  I have not researched it yet, but there are several "classes" to help you create one.  Does one need to take one of these classes or can you create one yourself?

How does one create these Pod Casts and then what do you do with them?  What equipment is involved?  Any target time for each one (5 minutes, 30, etc)?

You all have been so much help so far.  This is a great source because most people in the same area are not as helpful as you are considered competition.

It's not difficult really....   Depends on your level of comfort with technology.  I bought a microphone and just started doing audio podcasts [Internet Marketing for Realtors].

I also currently do Video Tours for agents, so taking those tours and converting them to a Video Podcast wasn't really difficult.  Of course, I use a Mac and everything is always easier than Windows...   :)

Below are some sites that may help you out - without a class!

Resource Tips for Podcasts/ Vlogs

Free Tutorial for Video and Audio Podcasts

Podcast intros, outros, promos, bumbers, on air talent, royalty free music

Podcast syndication services (relatively inexpensive)

The key to a successful podcast is the same as a blog... you need to keep it up regularly (something I personally have not been very good at! I am constantly getting emails from people wanting MORE!).
