I know I'll get a lot of flak for saying "Arizona"...

Hawaii has spectacular sunsets. The Florida Keys are nothing to sneeze at. But when it comes to the end of day, I'd rather be in Arizona than anywhere else on earth!

I took this photo just before the sun dropped below the mountains to the west. Our grandkids in New Jersey have gotten nearly a foot of snow this afternoon, and this one's for them.

Hi Mike, Beautiful and quite the beautiful sunset. We have them here and had I not been out showing property one of the most magnificent sunsets I have ever seen occurred a couple days ago and didn't have my camera. But I sure did think a lot about it and wished I could have shared it. It ranged from blue.grey purple and shades of coral . But I surely do understand what it means to love where you live.

Oh my Mike,

You are so right,..in Key West celebrating the sunset is huge deal at Mallory Dock, that in itself is a life experience. As for the sunrise at the crater on Maui, you're right about that one too. Before dawn (freezing cold) waiting for dawn isan experience.. Biking down the crater is antoher story.

Seems to me like Mike your spectacular photo is another,..I'd just love to be there to experience it....thats the difference of those "life-time" moments.

I suspect that sunsets can be spectacular anyplace on the earth. I've seen some in North Carolina that made the sky appear to be on fire. I've seen them here, over the water, that are memorable.

Sunsets are nature at it's most beautiful.
