Tucked in behind Cracker Barrell on Cassopolis Road opposite of the Indiana Toll Road Entrance is the Elkhart Welcome Center. I had a few minutes after a great lunch to browse thru with my husband Larry. This was my first visit and I clearly learned some new things about my hometown.
For starters, there were beautiful quilts hung throughout the lobby, conference rooms and offices. I truly enjoyed the local talent of both Diana M Bennett and Lina m Zerkle. I applaud the many many hours they have spent designing and working on the quilts. They are works of art!
If you haven't taken time to visit, please schedule some, it is worth your time! A Hostess is available to answer any questions you may have and to guide you to the area of your interests.
