When you adjust the treble and bass on your car radio, home stereo, the sound improves to compensate for the environment or something lacking in the speaker quality.

You can shape, improve the sound. An equalizer has more audio sound frequency adjustment options. And if a real estate broker ran this final product / image signal thru that equalizer what would he "hear"? Like the prism of colors that come out of sunlight, he or she might want to crank up this level, pull back that one. And he might noticeeq audio, equalizer some frequencies missing all together.

For years it has not just been the property you were listing, marketing, selling.

The community and local flavor are a big chunk of the marketing percolating in the back ground for the outside buyer with little or no knowledge of where the property is parked. And with lots of real estate professionals to choose from, the brand of the real estate office and individual broker is another important element in who buyers and sellers pick. So when you are on the other end of your message, what is the public "hearing"?

The first turn off could be too much "Broker X is a world reknown, local professional with a long track record of success". I don't know about you but those ten minute introductions that go on and on before a speaker is ready to grab the mic at a local Rotary meeting make me think.."oh oh..this guy that wrote this is pretty full of himself". It is too much, over the top "what a good boy am I" Jack Horner me me me. (Adjusting that equalizer frequency range from too much or just a little setting). Next the images used in promoting the property and the and the brand. Are they skimpy, dark, not interesting or too much the broker, and no beef of where's the listing, where's the local information? (Sliding up volume input on tons of listing images, helpful blog posts, videos on community.) Your social media visibility is set how? (Boosting eq slide upwards). Use of video? Podcasts? (Whoops...Nothing to slide for some.) And plain old details...why are some sites so malnurished on the nuts and bolts just the facts copy? Post it. (Kicking up details, facts slider.)

As you study the "sound" is there a helpful website, blogs for different purposes and a sense that the broker is full service? Gung ho and that his work is not work, but competitive, a sport he thrives on? It should show thru the way he markets, not because he tells you he is the greatest. It is about others, not him. Trying to be helpful and that every effort is not ego driven or information only provided once you signal you are buying something? If the broker is high on his area more than himself, the flavor and passion for the area, the property are what gets boosted high to hear on the EQ settings. If too much me the broker is in this section instead of the area, the listing, this is the mud in the mid range you want to remove to get a tight, happening, interesting sound.

A good broker is humble, back ground and less cheesy billboard bigger than life or needing to be noticed, appreciated, in your face. Down to earth, family oriented, not just a million dollar producer. He or she is warm genuine down to earth person. Where is that setting lever or dial on your real estate broker message EQ? Boost the property, the local community by posting helpful FAQ posts, videos and full detail listings is plenty. Those efforts if done right, consistently and are a benefit to your buyers and sellers as you take care of the day to day details of real estate, your own brand will shine brightly. The testamonials you recieve sing your praises, not you. Is your real estate message missing any vital ingredients or needing adjustment of others for the final "sound" or image your want to have?
