HELP! I Dropped My Phone in the Pool!

By
Real Estate Agent with California Lifestyle Realty DRE# 1780607

Our phones are our lifelines-- to clients, friends, and family.  Okay, I wanted a new phone-- but I did not drop it in the pool on purpose!  How many of us have dropped, kerplunked, flushed, drowned our most important tool for our business?  Here is a short video on how to give your phone CPR--- and perhaps revive it from an unexpected plunge !

Ken,  I think the rice works just like the silica gel paks in the video!  These tips can help all of us with butter fingers!  Kathy

I flooded my laptop with water and kept trying to turn it on.  Wrong.  I also used a hairdryer on it.  Wrong.  Burned everything out.  This is good info for the next accident.  I guess it would work for computers also.

I have lost 2 phones to pools from my shirt pocket, DUH, and another to the pool during a brief swim (Trunks pocket, DUH).  No success trying to dry any of them, and dealer said it was not possible!  I almost want to soak another phone just to try your remedy!!!  Thanks for the training!

I assume this "fix" also works for phones dropped in toilets.  I've done that TWICE.  Thanks for an informative video!

Were you planning on swimming or you tripped and fell into the pool or how in the world did you really drop your phone and it happened to go in the pool? Now I want to know how you got it out of the pool? At least I learned the rice trick in case it ever happens to me.
