You little stinker Carole. I received a sweet email from Yvonne Root wishing me a happy birthday and I asked her how she found out...now I see. Well what can I say...this is really sweet and thoughtful Carole and everyone who has commented...a big hug back at ya!  I am adjusting to my new station in life quite well and really enjoy the view from the top of the mountain. My granddaughter asked for my seashell collection when I die so all is going according to plan. Thank you all so much!!!

Pacific Grove on the tip of Monterey Bay is always my go to spot for some fresh air and celebration. A small Hawaiian wedding was taking place and Haley and Buddy stopped to watch. The Hawaiian Wedding Song still turns me to mush.

Carole - remember our conversation about expectations? It is very real. When you can let go of control, the bounty is more than you could have imagined...just like this birthday wish!

Val - listen my dear friend, you can't be everywhere all the time even though I know you try. I really like the 'smooth path" and I will take that with me.

Leslie - I didn't even get sand in my shoes...and I don't miss the hangovers! I feel the love.

Sheron, Take my word for it. Marci has alot of talent in many areas however she sings as off key as I do and that is enough to make the bears run for cover :.)
