Ok Help!!! So when I check in I put where I am or it tells me where i am? I would love to use this correctly
If you have a gps enabled phone it may tell you where you are, but you may have to put it in. I have a blackberry storm and I ahve to tell it where I am sometime or I may have to add a "venue". Be gald when you do that, more points.
I think I will do a video on how to check in etc etc
Dave
Dave you are on the edge here, always on the edge!
I just signed up, but I am having trouble on my phone ap.
The concept in interesting but I still do not see the "true" value in FourSquare beyond I am here, I am there, I have points, I am the new mayor. I may be missing something here but the connections created using Facebook and Twitter seem like they would be more valuable per time invested.
Great idea to check in at your own listings when you visit! So far i'm loving foursquare!
Dave- Im with you on this. Foursquare does have awesome potential to a marketer. I'd like to see a few tweeks to make it more user friendly for real estate. Id love to add my listings as venues..then be able to add a link to a mobile web page the users could see on on their cell. I think as Foursquare goes more mainstream- you'll see other third party API's that will make this stuff feasible.
Dave - I decided to jump in and give FourSquare a try. I am amazed that very few people in my market are using it yet and I now see this as a potential advantage.
What's with all the scaming comments above? They see this as an opportunity for free advertising?
