How effective has blogging been for you?

I've had a bunch of leads from Active-Rain, most have came recently as I was on a long hiatus from utilizing this site for awhile.  I closed my first loan from this site about a month and a half ago.  What really intrigued me is how educated the man was about this business.  He did his homework and it was a pleasure working with him and it appears that we'll do a lot of business down the road.   Keep on bloggin Nattalie and showing your stuff, I'm amazed at the power and the people of this forum.

I'm hopeful ... I just joined AR ,,, it's good to hear success stories!!

I have not got any leads yet. But I have learned a lot. This will help me in my business.

Hey Nattlie, the key to getting your website as active as your AR site is to advertise you site on everything you publish.  Every brochure, business cards, magazine ads everything.  The other key is website content including allowing people to search your local MLS through your site.  Once they find you keep them coming back.  Use a drip campaign, send emails from your site and include your website on every email too.  I have not looked at your site yet but I will take a peak.  I get leads from my site weekly.  Converting them is the key.  Best of luck.

Brian Brady & I have discussed this in depth. When Blogging is done well, it can be a powerful tool in increasing both sales and your extended social/business network. I don't believe you can rely solely on blogging, rather it can become a powerful part of your marketing mix. Don't hesitate to email a member or even pick-up the phone and call them. Good luck and may blogging bring you much more business in the future.

I havent' had any leads, but I don't have a website to follow up with or an outside blog that is readily visible.  I am hoping to change that, as I am putting more efforts into my blogs.

I did not get much from my blog... but certainly I learned a lot. I am content with that. Still waiting for a miracle that one day I'll get some real leads.

I love active rain! I have been on since about the 1^st of the year and I have had great success! I even wrote a blog about it in late June. At that time had 74 leads, 8 buyer contracts, 2 listings and 2 closings. Love Active Rain and what it has done for my business.

I am very new to AR and have yet to design an attaching website. I have posted a few blogs very recently with no leads to date. (Hoping to change that). I have begun to utilize some of the excellent marketing ideas, etc. I have heard good things as far as leads from others though
