Real Estate Agent with Florida Homes Realty and Mortgage

I have invited a number of my colleagues to join Active Rain.  They are not getting the invitations I am sending from myInvitation "Invite Others" page.  Have you had the same trouble?  How is it corrected?

When I invite other agents, I've followed up with real email with links to 3 or 4 groups of interest * I think you will get better response.

Wallace, I am not having trouble with the response, they are simply not receiving the invitation in their e-mail.

Dear Marjorie,

This happened to me before and this was how I dealt with it. Go to your invitation page and copy and paste your "AR invitation link with your name" and paste in into an email to the person you want to invite. My invitation link looks like this:

Alternatively, you may provide people with the following referral url and you will receive credit if they register via it: http://activerain.com/action/referrals/austin_realtor

yours should be similar but have your name on it. The only downside is AR can't track your invitations. Good luck!!

PS. I like Wallace's advice about following up with an email. Suggesting groups they will find helpful is another great idea! This will help them to get involved and see the value of networking on AR.

Not a real person
San Diego, CA

I had the problem when I first joined ActiveRain back in July 2008. Bob Stewart told me to do exactly what Betina in comment #3 does. I think it works better anyway because my Invitees (up to 125) get a personal invitation from me through my email rather than spam from the ActiveRain email.
