What comes next? A few years ago, did we see Twitter and FaceBook dominating the horizon? Did we see MySpace falling off a cliff and becoming a place for bars and bands... and not much else? Did we see the mobile would still be "just around the corner"? Did we know that video would be EVERYWHERE... and still be almost here? Actually, two years ago at REtechSouth, Pat Kitano told me that Twitter was getting ready to go big and that in a few years it would be a dominant social media. But, while FaceBook was looming, I don't think it showed up on the radar as the power it has become. Regardless, this is an interesting video about the future of technology...

No matter how "out in front of it" we try to get, unless we keep running, we will end up behind it...

Turning Houses into Homes

It is always interesting to look at what they were predicting about the future 50 years ago.  Where are the jet packs and flying cars?  However, the smart phones will dominate.  I suspect the phone, computer and TV will merge into one devise, but we will have larger monitors to plug them into.

Lane, I took a break from trying to figure out Facebook Connector, (that I figured out yesterday that I need for my new RealBird application) to rest my brain. I think I'll take a walk instead! LOL

I used myspace first not so much any more but still like it becase i can make it look good. facebook alot and twitter a little. im startign to use youtube more now.

Lane - I love videos like these.  It really makes you wonder how much further our technology can grow.  Personally, i can't wait.  I just hope the good stuff doesn't start costing a lot of money to use.
