Its no wonder these two REAL Entrepreneurs were chosen to spotlight. The focus was on Technology. Enough said. One more thing: Blog ON!
If you ever wonder if you're doing the right thing by spending so much time blogging, talk to these guys.
Some of my favorite quotes from Tracee Walker's article: Plugged in and Turned On: REALTORS for the Next Generation from Jeff are: "If you don't have a web presence, you are missing the opportunity to connect with 70 to 80 percent of buyers. You don't have to be the big name REALTOR to get a buyer or seller's attention, you just have to be in front of them. Don't get so bogged down in technology that you forget to be a REALTOR."
It was kind of fun as a Mississippi Blogging member of Active Rain to watch what was going on strategically. For a long time I was the companion photo to Damion. I never set a goal to overtake him because I figured it would take too much time and sometimes you need to market face to face and work with hard copy. Then, out of the blue here comes Jeff with a lot of energy and determination. I was easy to overtake, but I was surprised when he took the lead over Damion.
Come to find out, Damion has been applying his energy to many other areas at this time. Thankfully, he is still accessible and responds quickly to questions I shoot him now and then. Actually, I am happy being # whatever as long as I'm still communicating.
