By
Services for Real Estate Pros with RealBird Inc.

The following video tutorial by Jeff Link demonstrates how to set up the RealBird Property Search for your market and how to embed it into your website, ActiveRain or any other blog for that matter. The video shows the usage of the regular RealBird Property Search widget and also the blog sidebar widget.

Thanks Jeff for the great tutorial.

Thanks for the tutorial.  I'm off to try this.  I'd like to set up the property search widget on my AR side bar.

I was told you do not get the Google juice when you put  Realbird into a post.

Tom - We have two flagship products, one is the Listing Publisher, the other one is the Property Search. The Listing Publisher is very much Google optimized and large portion of the traffic is organic search engine traffic. The search engine traffic of the Property Search is less  - relatively speaking - than direct referrals, but that has Google Juice as well. The Property Search is currently optimized for best user experience once they found your blog post via ARs or your blog organic SEO. Having that said it still produces SEO benefits on its own, according to out stats. Future version will bring it up to the level of SEO, that the RealBird Listing Publisher already has.

One of the key points of our product design is to deliver traffic from many different sources, traffic via syndication, traffic channeling between your RealBird services, social networks etc. I will write a detailed post about this, as it can get complicated in a short comment like this.

When talking about Google juice (SEO) in the context of AR blog posts, the main SEO comes via ActiveRain itself and once your post is found, portion of your traffic is channeled to your embedded RealBird services (listing widgets, property search etc.). I am not sure about the intent of your source (supportive, objective input or competition's statement) but RealBird does generate significant SEO within the context of blog posts as well.

Could you please advise on which particular RealBird service, widget, embed code etc. you refer to and I could explain how it works in more details, including best practices.

Thank you for your comment
