Would Congress allow Budget Cuts to NASA??

By

Okay, so this is what's on the mind of many area Realtors in the Houston area... especially the Clear Lake, League City, Friendswood, Webster, Nassau Bay, Seabrook areas of the Houston Metro...  How would potential budget cuts or a complete end to NASA affect our economy here?  How would it affect our real estate market here?

Does the Federal government have the "Space Balls" to kill NASA or is it, like AIG, too big to fail?

Closing NASA makes about as much sense as charging human beings for air metered by the number of breaths per minute.

The budget is making NASA less relevant.  Other space agencies may end up taking the lead in the meantime.

Only when the general public see a need for more space station trips and the like will they truly support NASA.  Unforunately, most of the people that remember the great feelings of national pride when we went to orbit or the moon are old or dead and the rest of the population wasn't even born yet.
