Every year in July, Haddonfield has the Crafts and Fine Arts Festival, which is a 2 day event. It's a nationally ranked event with over 230 fine arts and crafts persons that come to display and sell their work.
Haddonfield's main artery, Kings Highway, is closed down for this 2 day festivity. If you want to see what Kings Hwy looks like prior to the festival, please click onto this link. An Introduction to Haddonfield New Jersey. It's the first main picture on the left
Some of the arts and crafts range from jewelry, metal, paper drawings, glass, wood, paintings, photography, ceramics, and wearable art and clothing. Some of these artists get to show off their work and how they create some of their beautiful pieces as a demonstration which is held near the Gazebo in Kings Court.
In addition to the arts and crafts, area restaurants will set up outdoor cafés, musicians will entertain and puppeteers and face painters will delight the children.
Aaaahhhhh.... and let's not forget about the food. As you can see to the right is a tent selling fresh Kettle Korn. You will see anything from sausage, burgers, and hot dogs on a grill, to pretzels, popcorn, and ice cream. And let's not forget about the water ice, especially on a nice summer day with temperatures in the mid to high 80's.
As you can see in the picture to the left, that there is a soft pretzel stand with a large cooler out front with soft drinks and lots of water. Another hot item that is sold is fresh squeezed lemonade.
So, don't forget to bring your appetite. With the several restaurants located on Kings Highway, you also have food choices from Italian, to seafood, to Chinese, and to Japanese for those sushi lovers.
Overall, bring your walking shoes. There are a lot of tents to visit and you would be surprised on all of the different arts and crafts to choose from. Here is a fountain that I bought for $50. Overbrook Fountains are all original and made from stones all around the world. Some stones are over 3 million years old.

Yes, I am a die hard Phillies fan, who by the way have stayed away from their 10,000th loss so far. But don't hold your breath. But the Boston Red Sox are my second favorite team and have been since 1974. I just had to buy the tissue box holder that you see to your left. What was funny was the gentleman that was selling these actually had one to where two sides had Red Sox on it and the other two sides had the Yankees on it. How does that work out?
I then bought some early Christmas gifts. Just some little trinkets that were actually very creative. The first one you see in the picture is "Key Clip". Women, hate losing your keys in your purse, not anymore. This clips right inside your purse which is then attached to your keys. You will never have to search again. The second item is an eyeglass or name badge holder. You can get it with a magnet on the back or as a pin. You then place the item on your shirt and you can clip your eyeglasses onto the hook that is supplied. Now my dad will never misplace his glasses. They had a large selection of these. Lastly, I bought my dad, my brother-in-law, and myself personalized golf ball markers. Sorry that you can't see the names, but the one for my dad says dad on it.
