A House Made of Gold

Are you actually expecting to read about a house made of gold?  I hope not, but lately we are being bombarded with advertisements telling us to invest in gold.  Gold has never been higher, they say, over the past 10 years gold value has grownGold House tremendously.  So maybe this is really time to sell gold.  Why on earth would anyone want to buy at the top of any market.  Isn't the object to buy low and sell high.  

Speaking of buying low, there isn't a better time to take the money they are telling you to invest in gold and buying real estate.  Think about it, real estate prices are about as low as they are going to go, and interest rates can't get much better.   While real estate is likely to go up from here.  Will gold continue to climb?

Not only is your investment in real estate likely to rise, it can be done with as little as 3.5% to 5% of the cost of the total investment.  Additionally, it can provide shelter for you and your family, or a place of business, or rental income and a steady source of income. 

How does that work with gold?  It goes like this, you take your cash, at today's rates every $1,100 will buy you about an ounce of the precious metal. Then you wait and hope the price rises.

Buy low and sell high, it's as easy as pie. Unfortunately, most people are like cows, they are only comfortable moving with the herd.

Real estate values in so many areas has reached the point where the fundamentals are so right to buy.

Perhaps more folks will return to the view of homes as shelter.
