Please Pray for my daugher

My youngest daughter was in a car wreck last night. It is only God's grace she is alive. Please pray for her she is in Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. She has a broken pelvis and a torn blater. She is is a lot of pain and a morphine drip.

She is 17 and no alchol was involved in the accident. I will post pictures later, only came home from the U. of Michigan hospital to change clothes.

He name is Allyssa Caulk.................I am believing God to heal her pelvis so she will not required surgery. She is distraught because it looks like her SR of High School she will not be able to cheer. That is not important to me but it is to her.

Update:

She will have surgery on Wed or Thur on the pelvic area. Broken in 3 places where the 0's come together on the pelvic skelton. Our pastor came by today and prayed for her and she was delighted to see him.

She's being prayed for. Hang in there and know that the Lord takes care of His own, tell her to be of great courage and to take every chance she can to thank God that her life was spared - He obviously has specific plans for her. The Lord is the master healer and nothing is impossible to Him.

Missy,

Now it is my turn to pray for you and your family - and I do so gladly. Your daughter is at such a vulnerable time in her young life. I pray that she realizes that there is a purpose for everything - even this, just like my wife's cancer has a purpose. I know it is hard to recognize that there will be good that will come from this - but remember that "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28

My favorite verse these days may also help you, 2nd Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Thank you for asking about my wife (pool) on my blog - I wanted to check in and see how you and your family are hanging on.

I know there are many good thoughts and prayers coming your way - not only in this community but I am sure from your Geo-Community as well.

Update on Allyssa,

She is still in the hospital as the cathether was not able to be removed, due to the bladder puncture. But, she is improving every day !! Praise God !

She started physical therapy on Monday and is able to get into a wheel chair with help. The physical therapist have been encouraging and tell us she is doing what most people only do in weeks of training.

Mike and I and our older children are rotating nights to stay there. I usually get to sleep at home, because I have had so many closing and last minute details with those.

My team has been tremendous, picking up all the little things to do, doing walk-through etc...

I believe she will get to come home on Monday, if all goes well. They delivered a hosptal bed and table and the ramp is coming on Monday. Our house has steps from every outside door. She is ready !!

I will be dealing with cathether for about 7 more days and then they will do another systo-gram to determine if her bladder can function. She has a great attitude and her goal is to be able to cheer by mid football season.

I appreciate so much all the prayers. I know they are working and God is in control. We have seen His hand throughout the whole ordeal, with Dr's, Pain Managers and Anetheologist all being our past clients. Can you believe it ??
