Innovative Marketing Tools

Well, I have been in Real Estate in Florida for the past 12 years and I have never seen business so slow, but I am hanging in there and using the "free" time to look for better ways to market myself.

One new tool I just started using is called Send Out Cards.  It is an online service that you simply log onto and customize a card and click send.  They print it, put a real stamp on it and mail it.  With one click you can send cards or postcards to one person or hundreds for as little as $1.04 including postage! (postcards are much less)

There are thousands to pick from and you can upload photos into the card and your own handwriting font.  I am finding that clients are so tired of emails and "junk" mail that when they receive an actual greeting card they really take notice.

If anyone is interested in finding out about this service you can go to this link where you can get a free sample account that will let you try it out by sendind a few cards for free www.sendoutcards.com/touchalife or email me your name and address and I will send you a sample card so that you can see it for your self!

I have found that it is a great way to keep your name in front of your past customers and farm!

I know a great number of people who use this service and have been the recipient of a few cards myself. Either it works or the marketing idea is appealing. I know my perspective differs but I suggest taking care. If I get a marketing piece, I'm fine with it. If I get something which pretends to be personal but is a marketing piece (of the easy to send automated kind) my view of the sender is not enhanced.

Alan:

I understand your concern, but with this service, I am able to upload my own handwriting and it becomes one of the fonts I can use when customizing my card.  Also, with the abilty to upload photos, I can make "Just Listed" and "Open House" cards or postcards with a photo of the property on the front for a lot less than I was paying from a printing place.
