Great list. Here's another of my favorites: Pay a toll for the person behind you.

Heres one... Give someone a sincere compliment. It will brighten someones day.

Great Post...I like to purposely do kind things for people that I don't necessarily like "naturally" but as I reach out to them, usually I find that I do rather like them for one reason or another. The merciful shall obtain mercy!

Great...How about always saying "Thank you and You're Welcome" when appropriate.

Sue: Love the ideas. The best random acts of kindness are those acts the recipient has no idea of who was the giver!

Do unto others as you would want them to do to you. The golden rule we should all live by. Hold a door open for someone coming behind you and they will hold the next door for you. It really works.

Cait: Great idea & it costs you nothing!

Lania: We get by giving!

Derrick: Definitely overlooked and so easy to do.

Rhonda: I love those... I know people always wanting credit for their efforts... The idea is to give without expecting anything in return (even recognition).

Jay: I have had more "young" teens holding doors open for me lately... it really touches my heart. Maybe they just think I'm getting old & need the help. Either way, I'll take it!

Loves others as you love yourself. That will take care of it all.

Someone else told me when he sees a penny or a coin with tails up, he don't pick it up because they say it is bad luck to pick it up if it is tails up. So he turn it over for the next man that sees it. I thought that was a good one.

The world can always use a little more kindness, we should take the time to let others know we care about them.

Sometimes we cross paths with others for a reason. Sometimes it is so we can help them and other times it is so we can be helped. If we take the focus off of ourselves and look for ways to give back to others it makes the day so much happier. When you are fortunate enough to really help someone the blessing you receive is undescribable. It will often times make you feel great for weeks.

Laura: No doubt about it. I truly enjoy giving much more than receiving!

Sue, Don't you wish everyone would do these things on a daily basis? Things would be so much better!

Steak: I'd be happy if people did it on a monthly or yearly basis. Daily would be AWESOME though!

Thanks for the terrific reminder Sue - we cannot have too much kindness no such thing - in the final analysis, this is really all that matters. I've recently realized that regardless of the work I do or wherever life takes me, this is my life purpose.

That is a solid list of the basics that are often missed in today's busy world. They really require just a little bit of effort to do, but can have a huge positive impact. In your professional life and in your private life. Even on the golf course. Good reminder.
