The developer sponsored today's Kohala Coast broker caravan so after previewing the best new listings for sale from Hualalai Resort north to Mauna Kea Resort, agents could enjoy the view and food, and hear about reduced pricing on remaining developer units for sale.
Resort real estate continues to be hot at the moment, with the majority of the sales either short sale, foreclosure or developer properties. About half of all sales at Waikoloa Beach Resort last year were at Halii Kai. Although they are still holding prices firm on their limited ocean view inventory, the developer is willing to stay competitive on the Coconut Grove to maintain their sales pace:

Lush garden and Mauna Kea views with only a short 5-10min walk to the stunning Ocean Club where I enjoyed lunch today...plus workout facilities at the oceans edge and a beautiful multi-level heated salt-water pool with towel service.
I have four Halii Kai short sale listings, and one is a Coconut Grove 3BR/2BA next to the tennis courts listed at only $465,000 with furnishings available under separate bill of sale. For the best buy on the property, a penthouse 3BR/3BA looks over the signature hole of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, with big ocean and sunset views, now offered as a short sale at $999,000. That was a price reduction of $896,000!
