Russel.....I hate to admit it, but to this day, I still make a list every morning of everything I have to do that day....I love to make lists.....I also love that typewriter.....
Russel, I also make lists for what I need to do the next day, and of course, a shopping list.
Hi Russel ~ Everything I read suggests that list posts are very popular. This is a great suggestion list!
Liz
Hi Russel, I think "they" say people lose interest very easily, but 5 or ten items doesn't seem so long, and the peoples brains can tolerate a short list of 5 or 10 before they get bored.
I clicked and clicked and moused and moused...gee whiz...I thought you had written the lists...aw shucks !
Thank you for the list idea Russel. I'm going to start on that and link them to me blog and also make them part of my listing presentation (whichever will apply).
I had a typewriter just like that. It was my great uncles and got passed on to me when I was a teenager. When I moved six years ago, I sold it at a yard sale. Seeing your picture brings back pleasant memories!
Russel...I too am a list maker. It seems if I don't have a to do list, something always gets forgotten. Unfortunately, mine exceeds 10 items most of the time!
Hey, Barbara - I love antique stuff. I still have my first video game for the television, Pong. I bought it in 1977 and I was the envy of just about everyone in College Station, Texas. Word spreads fast among college students when you have the only doohickey in town.
Hey, Rebecca - Although I make shopping lists, my husband usually forgets to bring it with us. LOL
Hey, Liz Bolton - I think lists help people focus since they all have such short attention spans.
Hey, Liz Flint - It's amazing that people get bored so easily.
Hey, Sally - Just like my husband who wants me to do everything for him. LOL
Hey, Wanda - I bet your prospective Clients will find them useful.
Hey, Sharon - My typewriter is one of the few items that I have that brings back memories of my granddad.
Hey, Carra - When your list starts exceeding 10 items regularly, you just need to make a new list. I have a daily list, as well as weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually.
