WOW, What a mess!!!! Good luck to your Cousin and her sister (also your cousin!!).
Thanks Lewis for the comment...yeah I wonder how I would say that her sister or another cousin LOL. My New Castle cousin sent me unbelievable photos from my other cousin, her sister in Alexandria VA...guess that would have been better LOL
Sure looks pretty though, as long as you don't have to drive anywhere! We have not had a snow like that for a couple years!
It's a great time to sit back in front of the fire and just read a good book while the "white stuff" either melts or is removed by "someone else". Luckily for you, this is not a regular occurrence.
June, this storm put us at number three for all time snowiest winters in the DC Metro area. We definitely are not used to all this snow.
Hi Joan I always thought Colorado had its share of winter storms. This storm although for us around the Pittsburgh western Pa area has been one of the top 3 storms in history. I have clients in Va trying to move to my city and are they getting clobbered
Hi Tom I agree these storms are short lived...and as long as others are out of danger, safe and warm...I am OK with it and actually enjoy this white stuff...fresh fallen snow is just beautiful. I have heard friom several people that they stayed up all night just to watch the heavy snow fall...it was so beautiful....yep we love our seasons in western PA...the skiers are a loven it....
Our street is still 2 feet of snow. Digging the truck out is almost a futile mission. Dratted snow!
Oh wow and in all this freezing temps...what a job that is going to be...Thanks for sharing
June,
I hope those are reserved spots. I can't imaging shoveling a car out and have somebody else take your spot.
Rich
Oh my gosh Richard...I never thought about that...or forget where you parked and shovel someone elses car...too much !!!!
Snow Days are the days we're supposed to be staying home and making cookies or something yummy, right? Hopefully they've got all the right ingredients :)
June - it's so nice to have you back in the rain! You've been missed!
Thanks Anna..no cookies just a lot of missed time on AR and I have missed everyone too. Glad to be back home in the rain
The snow looks so pretty on all of the trees, but not so much on the car. Or at least the car that you say is there :)
