5 Great Things to do in Fantabulous Albuquerque

Take a ride on the world's longest aerial tramway. Dine at the top of the Sandia Peak at the High Finance Restaurant and Tavern.

Albuquerque Biological Park

The Biological Park consists of the Albuquerque Aquarium, Rio Grande Botanic Gardens, Rio Grande Zoo, and Tingley Beach. Enjoy dining at The Shark Reef Café at the Aquarium.

Elena Gallegos Picnic Area

This beautiful 640 acre park has an elevation of approx 6,500 feet. A network of paths is available for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. There are also two paths for hikers only.

Leah - There are a lot of people that move here for the weather. We have low humidity so coming from the east that is an appealing feature. The outdoors is a big draw.

Teri - these would great for a family afternoon. And for low cost the duck pond is free and Elena Gallegos is only a $1 weekdays and $2 weekends for parking.

Tina - Albuquerque is a great place to have a vacation home. Get away from the winter snow and spend it in the desert. We do get snow but overall not much. Last winter was a fluke. Yet great skiing is only a short drive away. Take a trip on the tram and you can go skiing.

Lynda - the Tram is a great tourist destination. I haven't been on it in years. I have driven up the "back" side and gone to the top where there is a gift shop. That is where the photo was taken from.
