SOUND ADVICE for OUR FRIENDS IN THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES.  STAY SAFE!

Via Margo Currie (Exit 1 Stop Realty):

For all those of you experiencing another winter snow storm, BE CAREFUL!!!!! If you don't have to go out, don't. When I lived in the greater Pittsburgh area, I used to watch the weather forecast every night all winter long. I loved the snow on the weekend, but just dreaded a weeknight snowstorm. I was never a confident winter driver, probably due to the fact that a car slid into me as I was stopped at a redlight when I first began to drive. I guess I just never got over it. I was that white knuckle driver going 15 miles an hour, thinking if I hit anything it wouldn't do much damage. As a former teacher with a snow driving phobia, I used to pray for a two hour delay, or better yet, a snow day... anything to get out of driving in the white stuff. Stay safe, all those of you who must go out. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

That was just a crazy storm!  Glad it is over.   I guess we have another one coming this week.  I pray it is nowhere near the last one.

Lenn,

Great to know that you are doing just fine.  You will need the lower temperature for now or risk flooding.  Hang in there!

Sajy, I hope that the weather forecasters are wrong.  You do not need another storm.  At any rate, play it safe.

Lloyd, Most people get in accidents because someone wasn't respecting the road conditions. Many people think if they have a big rig or 4x4 they are safe, but 4x4's only help you get going they don't help you stop so people get overconfident and then run into someone.

Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico are among the most stable real estate markets in the United States. This has caught the attention of the national media. As such, it is incumbent on local Realtors to provide information about our cities for those interested in investing, relocating, or visiting. My goal with this blog is to highlight issues or topics in real estate, and where appropriate apply them to the local markets.
