Lee and I were born in 1960...what a difference 50 years can make!
Wouldn't you just love to step back in time....just think, for 20K you could buy a new house and a new Corvette and have change left over.
Lee and Carol it is interesting to take a look back to see how over the years the changes have been drastic.
I remember pumping gas work at a gas station for that price. At the corner cafe I could get meal with soup, coffee and desert for 85 cents.
I feel old when I could say I paid 69 cents for a gallon of gas back in 1997. I heard lots of stories about how prices were and I catch myself saying the same thing lately.... No doubt, things are getting more expensive but I dont think wages are rising in proportion.
