For all of you OUTSIDE of Michigan - what are your thoughts on Michigan Real Estate?

I know and am sure that you have heard about our ups and downs and I am sure more about the downs... Especially in the city of Detroit! There is a lot of out of state money right now investing in Detroit properties investing or should I say - gambling in and for the future of the city and the area! Great to see the riverfront development happen and vacant and foreclosed homes being bought up for sure! As the BIG 3 is struggling - obviously so is Michigan Real Estate. There is great hope though with other markets thriving in healthcare, IT, and Compuware! Obviously there is a ton more to go on ... but let me know what YOU KNOW about Michigan Real Estate!
