3 Comments on Snow Day
Our cities and Counties and State (Minnesnowta) actually own snow plows and know how to use them. Our airport rarely closes as they run 10 plows down the runway at a time to keep it open. The evil 4 wheel drive SUVs come in quite handy too!
Good Luck!
Actually, we do it by not getting a whole lot of snow. Most of Minnesota receives less than 50 inches of snow in a year. Over our 5-6 months of winter, that isn't really a lot. Once it falls and gets pushed to the side of the road, driveway, sidewalk, it just stays there until spring. Our extremely low temps are much worse than the snow. Forget the plow. Get a snowmobile and enjoy!
Veera, I feel your pain! Enough is enough.
