Picturesque Marin County Outdoor Hikes and Events
This month, stormy weather permitting, a list of free hikes and events is being offered by the Marin County Parks and Open Space District and the Sierra Club of Marin.
The hikes are of moderate exertion and cover less than five miles. Try one or all of these hikes and see different parts of the county from Tennessee Valley in Mill Valley, Bon Tempe and Lagunitas Lakes, Mount Barnabe, Devil's Gulch in Samuel Taylor State Park, Three Lakes and Pilot Knob and a dog friendly hike around Rush Creek Preserve.
The events include watching birds on Bolinas Lagoon, Kayaking near McNear's Beach, restoring the bass pond at McInnis Skate Park.
