I am curious to know how many market report/update posts my fellow agents on AR do a week?  I know that I try to do at least 1 or 2 a week.  However, I also notice that of all of my blog topics, the market reports get the least amount of comments.  Of course, market updates are useful to buyers/sellers, more so than other agents, so the lack of comments doesn't particularly concern me.  Also, the market reports really help with SEO! I am always striving to find the perfect balance as I continue on with blogging.  Let me know your thoughts.

I do a weekly market update.  But, I also do fun blogs about my area, I get many more hits on the local happenings and good contact from sellers to list their home because I have a pulse of the area.

I post by zip code and will be doing this on AR only quarterly... I think that this data is most useful to consumers vs. other agents who have access to this info (hence fewer comments by AR agents). I say, post what you think is helpful whenever you want! Have a great time bloggin on AR!

I think a weekly report is great idea. I have been doing it monthly for my two target areas. I don't care that agents don't comment on those posts, they are done for consumers. My members only posts are for my AR friends and family. I wish you much continued success!!

Betina....I agree on not caring about the comments....looks like most agents do them weekly.....I was just wondering if I did that too often/too little/etc...It is great to hear what others are doing!

Hi Kristin, I am curious to know if you post all your great market reports and local information over on the Localism site?  I really don't understand how all this all works here on AR, but it seems like it would be a great place for you to do so as well.  Do you have to pay extra for that or is it included in upgrading to a "Rainmaker"?  This Drought stricken Hoosier has no idea.

I am going back from  1999-2009  for the yearly average and median totals for DOM, list, and sales prices and I am finding some very interesting trends for our different MLS areas that will be most useful.

I guess I always thought the market reports belonged over on Localism, but I just don't know.  I do, however find your reports enjoyable, and its always a good chance to comment and say "Hi".

I do all my markets almost on the same day; some I get lots of comments on; some I don't. The Waukesha posts get the most comments.

I do market reports monthly and stagger them out along with my other posts.  I rarely get comments but I have gotten lots of views and hopefully that will lead to calls.
