Okay, I hate to wax political at all...afterall, it rarely makes you new friends! But we really need to stop putting our heads in the sand and realize what a dramatic error it would be to cut mortgage deductions for ANY incomes. Folks, it really doesn't take much to get you over the 36% tax bracket! Wake up!

Alisha, the current admninistration is spending wildly and the deficit is climbing. We don't have any choice BUT to raise taxes, sad though it may be.

I heard this last week.  It's one of the changes the administration is considering to raise more taxes.  After all they promised not to RAISE taxes for the middle class - but they did not say they would not eliminate tax deductions.  Ah, there we go with that Pesky politician double talk.
