Catz, you are a women after my own heart. I do a lot of shopping on Craigslist and thrift stores as well. I don't have the time to fix things up like I used to but I have a job coming up that I will have more time to do that. Before I started staging, I would see things at a thrift store and think, "that would be so cool if it just painted it (or whatever)" but I had no use for it. Now I can salvage some great piece and put it to use.
Doing these types of projects is a nice outlet for our creativity. Fun & economical!
Two ladies after my very heart.....Decorate on...Dont ya love what we do!!!!!

You have done an excellent job, and so creative too ! Love the fireplace
Hi Catz, these are great looking pieces! I love your creativity - that's one reason, why I LOVE home staging - because we can use our creativity coming up with inexpensive ways to make something look great. You have shown a very successful implementation here. Love it.
Thank you Mary Lou & Birgit...I love that name...Well you know what else I love, is that it is a form of recycling. We are litrally saving new trees being cut down , by doing this. Quite honestly, I believe the older pieces are a better quality product , dont you think. Lastly , but certainly not least, we SAVE the client $$$...You know they love that...Thanks SO much ladies for stopping by.
Love Goodwill and the "Junk Stores" sounds like we may have a few things in common. Great ideas!
